The hostel is located about 50 minutes east of Stockholm City on the island of Värmdön. An island close to the archipelago and an area of great natural beauty with forest, lush meadows and beaches.

Flying to Stockholm:
The main airport is Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN), 40 km north of the city center. Most major European airlines has direct flights to Stockholm.
It is super easy to get to our venue from the Airport.
From the Airport it's a 2-step journey:
1. First get to Stockholm city center
2. When in the city center, get to Lillsved.
STEP 1: Getting to the city center from the Airport (ARN):
You can choose between five main ways of transportation from the airport to the city:
If you fly in with Wizz air, you will instead end up at Skavsta airport 100 km south of Stockholm.
Finnair and Brussels airlines have some flights to Stockholm Bromma airport 10 km west of the city.
Both those airports have airport coaches to the city center. You can find the timetables for these routes at flygbussarna.
STEP 2: Getting from Stockholm city center to Lillsved:
From the city center you have 2 options for getting to Lillsved this year (2025):
GOING BY BOAT:
The most unique and beautiful way to get to the hotel is by ferry. The ferries departures from: "Strömkajen" outside of Grand Hotel.
You get to Strömkajen from Stockholm central station by walking, tram, bus or the blue subway line. For subway get off at Kungsträdgården and follow the signs towards the ferries. You can also travel by bus route 65 towards Skeppsholmen and get of at Nationalmuseum.
The travel time by ferry is around 1,5 hours and the price for a single ticket is 125+ SEK.
You buy the ticket onboard the ferry with debit or credit card. You can’t pay with cash.

All other public transportation costs 42 SEK for a 75 min travel pass. You can use your debit or credit card as ticket, or you can buy a travel card at all subway stations as well as most stores called Pressbyrån. You can also download the app "SL-Reseplanerare och biljetter" and buy your ticet online.

TRAVELING BY BUS:
There is a bus stop right by the hotel and it has the same name as the hotel: Lillsved.
The bus route going to Lillsved has the number 437 and departures from the bus terminal at Slussen. Route 437 leaves from gate S in the very end of the terminal. The trip from Slussen takes around an hour and Lillsved is the last stop.
In order to get to Slussen from Stockholm central station, travel two subway stations to the south with the green or red subway line.

BY CAR:
If you drive to Lillsved by car, take road 222, Värmdöleden, towards Gustavsberg. Most major roads around Stockholm has directions pointing towards road 222. When you get on road 222, drive past Gustavsberg. When you come to a round about where road 222 splits up into two, follow road 274 towards Waxholm. Follow road 274 past Siggesta Gård. Two kilometers further down the road, follow the sign to the right, towards Lillsved and drive to the end of the road.

Rooms:
Most rooms are doubles (2 persons) with it's own bathrooms. The following things are included, so no need to bring your own:
When all the double rooms are filled up, we'll start assigning people to rooms that hold up to 6 people and does not have it's own separate bathroom.

Food:
All meals are served in the restaurant, and is of course included in the price.

There is a fully equipped proffesional gym avalible for everyone to use.

As a participant at MSA Nordic Convention you'll be required to follow the standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
